CLEVELAND (May 5, 2017) – The popular Take Two! Double Features at the DOME classic film series continues this summer in the Cleveland Clinic DOME Theater at Great Lakes Science Center.
May will be out of this world with back-to-back visitors from other galaxies in a Steven Spielberg double feature! Catch family-friendly classic “E.T.,” celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, followed by “Close Encounters of the Third Kind,” for its 40th anniversary at 8 p.m.
CLEVELAND (December 16, 2016) – By the hoary hosts of Hoggoth! The Marvel cinematic universe’s latest blockbuster, “Doctor Strange,” is ready to open Thursday, December 29 in the Cleveland Clinic DOME Theater at Great Lakes Science Center!
CLEVELAND (November 30, 2016) – Great Lakes Science Center continues to celebrate the grand re-opening of the Cleveland Clinic DOME Theater with Take Two! Double Features at the DOME – an all-new series of classic movies being held one Saturday a month starting January 28.
The digital conversion and interior remodeling of the former OMNIMAX Theater was completed in October, and as part of the projection system upgrades, the theater can now show movies from any digital source, as opposed to films available only in 15/70 mm film prints.
