Registration for summer 2026 opens for Science Center members on Monday, January 5 and for the general public on Monday, January 12. Members should refer to their email for instructions on how to register during the early access week.

What to Know About Camp - Great Lakes Science Center Location
- Located at 601 Erieside Ave., Cleveland, OH 44114 (Great Lakes Science Center).
- Camps run Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. Drop-off runs 8:15 - 9 a.m. and pick-up runs 3:15 - 3:50 p.m.
- Camp themes allow students to be inside and outside during the day. Please come dressed for the weather. This includes pre-applying sunscreen before the camp day starts.
- Campers may bring a brown bag lunch or pre-order a boxed lunch.
- Campers are asked to bring a water bottle and snack each day of camp.
- Before-care is offered starting at 7:30 a.m. for an additional $30 per week or $5 per day.
- After-care is offered until 5:30 p.m. for an additional $60 per week or $15 per day.

- Located at 25700 Science Park Dr., Beachwood, OH 44122 (Siegal Lifelong Learning at CWRU)
- Camps run Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Drop-off runs 8:30 - 9 a.m. and pick-up runs 3:30 - 4 p.m.
- Camp themes allow students to be inside and outside during the day. Please come dressed for the weather. This includes pre-applying sunscreen before the camp day starts.
- Campers must bring a packed lunch, snack and water bottle each day of camp.
- Extended care is not available at the Beachwood location.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made more than 14 days before the registered program date to receive a refund. A 25 percent administrative fee will be withheld. No refunds will be given within 14 days of the program date.
Each camp is led by an experienced local teacher, assisted by camp counselors including science professionals and college students with documented experience working with children. All summer camp staff members are CPR, AED and first aid certified and have passed criminal background checks.
Payment plans are available for Camp Curiosity. A 25 percent down payment is required at the time of registration and 25 percent is due every 30 days thereafter until full payment is made. A $10 service fee is applied. Full payment for a session is due no later than three days before the start of camp. Any remaining balance will be automatically charged three days before a session begins. Campers cannot attend any session that has not been paid in full.

- Register for both extended care sessions for $80 per week
- Extended care is not available at the Beachwood location
All campers are asked to bring a water bottle and snack each day of camp. Campers may bring a brown bag lunch or pre-order a boxed lunch. Box lunches are $88 for the week (summer only) or $17.50 per day (winter only). Vegetarian, dairy-free and avoiding gluten options are available. All lunches include fruit, a side and a bottle of water. Please note that pre-purchase lunch is not available at the Beachwood location and campers at Beachwood must pack a lunch.

- Early bird: Register by January 31 for $50 off or March 31 for $20 off.
- Membership Discount: Members receive $25 off per week
- Multi-week discount: Sign up for more than one week of camp and receive $10 off each additional session.
- Sibling Discount: Siblings registered on the same day receive $5 off

We are proud to offer need-based scholarships for camp attendees. Scholarships cover the cost of camp for up to one week, plus daily lunch and extended care. We know scholarships are an important part of making camp accessible to families and we are proud to offer need-based scholarships to camp attendees. This year, due to funding limitations, scholarship availability is limited. Scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once available spots are filled, students will be placed on a waitlist, and we will reach out if additional scholarships become available. Please submit all completed applications to scholarships@glsc.org.

A link to log into your camp account can be found here. You may also reset your password, if needed, from that page. Once logged in, you will be able to view and complete any missing forms and edit the authorized pick-up list for your camper.
