Great Lakes Science Center welcomes USA Triathletes and their families to Cleveland with a special race weekend discount! Bring your family to the Science Center Saturday, August 11 through Monday, August 13 and show your USAT tattoo or registration confirmation e-mail for $3 off the price of all general admission tickets.

The Science Center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, August 11; noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 12; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 13.

This special weekend is also a great opportunity to visit TapeScape-Sticky Science, open now through September 3. Using the humble product known as packing tape, the Science Center built a two-level, 1,300-square-foot, all-ages playground entirely out of packing tape wrapped around a metal frame – a TapeScape! The structure harnesses the tensile strength of tape – or its ability to stretch under stress – to make a multisensory installation strong enough for kids and adults to climb on and explore. This special temporary exhibition is included with general admission, and does require guests to wear socks.
