CLEVELAND (March 1, 2018) – Great Lakes Science Center couldn’t be more “eggcited” to bring back Eggsperiment – a fan favorite event to welcome back spring and celebrate the amazing structure of the egg!

Eggsperiment runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, March 30 and Saturday, March 31. Guests of all ages will discover if it’s possible to stand on a carton of eggs without cracking any, test their balance on an egg race obstacle course, explore the science behind sound, and build a contraption to protect their egg from a 62-foot fall in the Humpty Dumpty Plunge.

CLEVELAND (February 8, 2018) – Great Lakes Science Center’s “brickbuster” exhibition Build It! Engineering fun, one brick at a time -- presented by ArcelorMittal -- is back by popular demand for a limited run this spring!

Inspired by the endless possibilities of LEGO’s multi-colored bricks, Build It! delighted Science Center guests of all ages last summer, and now it’s back for an encore engagement from March 9 through April 8.

CLEVELAND (January 23, 2018) – Experience Cleveland’s favorite out-of-this-world dance party when Yuri’s Night: Space Party returns on Saturday, May 19!

The Science Center’s annual fundraiser is an outer space, after-hours party with live music from 7:30-10:30 p.m., a DJ from 10:30-11:30 p.m., an open bar with beer and wine, appetizers, specialty bites, and science demonstrations.

Come dressed to impress in your best outer space/science fiction themed costume and compete for prizes in the costume contest, and experience the museum after dark!

CLEVELAND (January 18, 2018) – The latest chapter in the Star Wars saga is coming to the Cleveland Clinic DOME Theater for a limited run starting at 6 p.m. Friday, January 26!

‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ picks up right where ‘The Force Awakens’ left off with the Resistance on the ropes and the First Order closing in. In the meantime, far from the galactic showdown brewing between the two forces, Resistance fighter Rey has tracked down legendary Jedi Master Luke Skywalker looking for answers about age-old mysteries of the Force and the truth about Kylo Ren.

CLEVELAND (January 17, 2018) – Great Lakes Science Center has a new event to lighten up the winter doldrums, just in time to make it through the last stretch of ice and snow in February!

Join us over the three-day Presidents Day weekend for a Curiosity Carnival on Saturday, February 17 through Monday, February 19. Guests of all ages will enjoy hands-on activities, amazing science demonstrations and all of the Science Center’s interactive exhibits.
