HAVE YOUR BIRTHDAY PARTY AT GREAT LAKES SCIENCE CENTER!
Note: The Science Center will not be hosting VIP Party Experiences during the months of June, July, August, or September.
How do you engineer the perfect birthday celebration? Upgrade your child’s big day to a new VIP Party Lab experience at Great Lakes Science Center! Each party includes admission for up to 20 guests, 10 parking passes, four hours of private room rental, an hour of guided science activity with a member of our STEM team, and of course, all-day access to the Science Center and hundreds of hands-on exhibits.
Birthday party bookings are available on Saturdays and Sundays and are held in the newly remodeled PPG Lab on the second floor.
PARTY THEMES
Choose a party theme for your curious scientist! Each VIP experience includes demonstrations by our STEM Scientist that prove science can have some amazing and unexpected results! All parties include a fun hands on activity as well.
1. Curious Chemistry
Chemists have all the solutions! Witness exciting chemical reactions in this lab tested, fun-approved experience. Become a chemist yourself as you experiment to find out what is hiding inside an everyday item.
2. Magic of Science
Is it magic, or is it science? Science of course! See some amazing demonstrations and learn the science behind each one. Create your own invisible picture or message and use science to make it appear! This party is recommended for younger guests (ages 3-5), but can be scaled up for an older audience.
3. Out of this World
Blast off into an unforgettable adventure! Explore what it takes to get a rocket into space, orbit around the globe, and return astronauts safely back to Earth. Become an engineer and build your own rocket that you can launch over and over again.

VIP Party Labs are $499 or $450 for Science Center members. To register, call 216-621-2400! Please make your reservation at least two weeks in advance of your party date. Full payment is due at the time of registration and reservations are not confirmed until payment has been received. Additional guests beyond the 20 person limit are $30 per person. Maximum capacity is 40 people. All food and beverage, with the exception of birthday cake, must be ordered through Great Lakes Science Center.
PARTY ADDITIONS
