Great Lakes Science Center has been nominated by the editors at USA Today’s 10Best for a 2024 10Best Readers’ Choice travel award for Best Science Museum and needs your help to be voted into the top spot! The polls are open at the 10Best website and fans of the Science Center can vote once per day for the duration of the contest. Voting ends at noon EST on Monday, February 12.
Help the Science Center kick off the new year by choosing it for Best Science Museum, and of course visit us to see for yourself why we were nominated! Save the date for our Total Eclipse Fest 2024, a three-day celestial celebration at North Coast Harbor in downtown Cleveland April 6-8. This outdoor, family-friendly event will feature hands-on science activities, a free community concert performance by The Cleveland Orchestra on Sunday, April 7, food vendors, entertainment, and free eclipse viewing glasses (while supplies last). Don’t miss our new film “The Arctic: Our Last Great Wilderness” now showing in the Cleveland Clinic DOME Theater. Registration for exciting new STEM summer camps are open for this year’s Camp Curiosity, and the Science Center recently opened a new special exhibit "Build It" which invites guests to unleash their imagination through collaboration, creativity and engineering.
