Turkey Tech 2025
This November, Turkey Tech is back at Great Lakes Science Center! Feast your curiosity as we celebrate science all month long with fun, themed hands-on family workshops, activities and a STEM-packed Thanksgiving weekend line up.
Programming:
Exhibit Activties: Cleveland Creates Gallery Setting the Table
- Guests can use the 3D printed hands to move plastic cups, plates, and utensils onto a placemat to explore the versatility of the device.
Family Workshops: Robotic Parade Float (November 15, 23, 28, 29)
- Guests design and decorate miniature parade floats to attach to Sphero RVR robots and then drive or program their creations to navigate a parade route.
Turkey Tech (November 28 and 29)
All of the above activities will be included, with these additions!
- 3D Printing Cart
- Force & Motion Science Show
- Sphero Bolt Football: Guests drive Sphero Bolt robots and complete various football-themed challenges, including dodging defenders and running 2-minute drills!
- Thanksgiving in Space: Guests will drive an FTC robot to navigate a lunar crater and maneuver around obstacles to collect pallets of food to bring back to astronauts for Thanksgiving dinner at their moon base.
