Manufacturing Day 2025 Presented by Rockwell Automation
October 2-3, 2025
Join us for the fifth annual Manufacturing Day celebration at Great Lakes Science Center! Manufacturing Day brings together hundreds of students from middle and high schools across Northeast Ohio to explore future careers in advanced manufacturing.
Corporate volunteers will inspire the next generation of the workforce through mentoring sessions, hands-on STEM activities, and a manufacturing career expo on the Science Center’s promenade. Industry sponsors, community partners, and educators will work together to connect talented students with future career paths in a memorable day-long event.
This year, the Science Center will also present a public event the night before Manufacturing Day, where guests can engage with volunteers to learn from the innovators who are shaping tomorrow’s manufacturing industry. Sponsors will be able to engage the public in a dynamic, welcoming environment for learners of all ages.
More about the Event:
Manufacturing Day is part of a nationwide initiative to showcase the present and future of modern manufacturing industry in an effort to engage and inspire students to pursue careers in the field. The Science Center’s event brings together hundreds of students, educators, and industry experts to build excitement about STEM learning and manufacturing.
This year’s expanded program will welcome the public into a one-of-a-kind experience on Thursday, October 2, as we open our doors for guests to explore. On Friday, October 3, more than 600 students will visit Great Lakes Science Center for a day filled with hands-on STEM activities facilitated by more than 300 volunteers. The museum will be closed for the day to focus on the organizations and schools participating in this event.
