Guest Health and Safety Update

Great Lakes Science Center is currently closed to the public in accordance with orders from state health officials.

The closure will be in place for the foreseeable future.

This includes any private rental events, fee-based programs, Cleveland Clinic DOME movie screenings, Camp Curiosity Spring Break camps and the previously scheduled Eggsperiment event that was set for April 10-11.

The Science Center continues to support educators and families with a unique range of engagement via Curiosity Corner Live on YouTube, a new web-based series of STEM curriculum and programming that is critical for the Science Center to continue to serve its mission during the closure.

The safety of our staff, partners, and guests remains our top priority. If you were planning an event, or have a question about a program registration, please email us at, or call us at 216-621-2400.

We are following recommendations from the Ohio Department of Health and the Cuyahoga County Board of Health. The Science Center will reopen as soon as it is determined safe and responsible to do so. We appreciate the patience of our guests and members, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
