Join Great Lakes Science Center for our fifteenth annual Design & Build engineering competition, presented by Parker Hannifin!
On the day of the competition, teams of up to eight people are presented with a design challenge and a set of materials. All teams then race against the clock to design, build, and test a successful solution in just three hours! Will your team take home the win in 2026?
Design & Build provides sponsors with an opportunity to engineer victory, engage the community, and generate excitement about STEM careers, all while supporting the Science Center’s mission.
