Educational Programs for School Groups

Great Lakes Science Center’s multi-faceted education program, BioMedTech: Students Translating and Exploring Medicine (BMT: STEM), examines health and wellness though the lens of biomedical research. BMT: STEM showcases local researchers from the Cleveland Clinic and Translational Science Collaborative and explores how different approaches to research help to prevent and improve treatments for diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular disease. Programs are free with paid admission to the Science Center.

BMT: STEM’s programs align with national and state standards to supplement classroom instruction and are funded by a Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) from the National Institutes of Health.
