About Race to Space: Rockets to Rovers

Northeast Ohio’s premier NASA space camp. From the minds behind the NASA Glenn Visitor Center comes a week of testing rockets, exploring planets and programming rovers.

This exciting camp explores multiple topics including robotics, rocketry, physics and engineering. Campers will be exposed to careers in aerospace and research, and have hands-on fun designing and testing their own rockets and aircraft to see firsthand how different variables can affect aerodynamics and other performance qualities.

Younger campers in kindergarten through fourth grade will tackle appropriate curriculum such as motion and materials, basic needs of living things, changes in motion, and Earth’s systems. Older campers will learn cycles and patterns in the solar system, matter and motion, forces, and more advanced lessons in Earth’s systems. All campers will learn collaboration skills, explore the NASA Glenn Visitor Center exhibits and make incredible memories!

Prepare to lead us into the future. We are GO for launch!

*Includes field trip to see the work NASA is doing in Northeast Ohio.
