CLEVELAND (July 3, 2018) – Great Lakes Science Center invites you to “Stay Cool, Stay Curious” this summer with a brand new event engineered to help you beat the heat -- Summer Science Splash!
So don’t say goodbye to summer just yet! The Science Center’s Summer Science Splash takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, August 4 and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 5 with a full line-up of cool hands-on activities, science demonstrations and summer fun!
Guests can build their own wind-powered boat and challenge their friends or family to a race in an engineering Boat Float challenge, sample liquid nitrogen ice cream, get outside for an explosive Big Science Show along the harbor, explore chemistry in a BASF Bubbles activity and check out hands-on demonstrations to learn about adhesion vs. cohesion and the Wonders of Water, presented by the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District.
