CLEVELAND, OH (September 27, 2018) – Spooktacular Science is back for another spine-tingling weekend of Halloween family fun at Great Lakes Science Center on Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28.
Get ready for potions, pumpkins, slime and science suitable for guests of all ages from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 27 and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 28. Get in the Halloween spirit by wearing your costume to the Science Center and experience the Gross Out Science Spectacular where we explore all the icky stuff that makes you say “Ewww!,” and the Chemical Concoctions Show full of potions and brews. Find out what happens when a chemical reaction builds up pressure inside a pumpkin, and make a musical instrument that creates a ghostly sound when it whirls!
Visit with our mad scientists in the lab, make color-changing slime in a BASF Thermochromic Boogers activity, use a robot and learn what happens when you flush the toilet during a Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District activity and show off your best dance moves in an hourly Monster Mash Dance Party.
Best of all, Spooktacular Science activities are all included with general admission! Visit GreatScience.com to see the full schedule of activities.
(Editor’s Note: The Science Center’s fall/winter operating hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays. The Science Center is closed on Mondays and during all Cleveland Browns home games.)
